18 karat white gold claw and grain halo style purple spinel and diamond ring. This ring has been delicately crafted with this unique gemstone that has only come to the fore over the last few years. It is famously present in the queens famous ruby crown where up until gemmological technology improved, it was believed all the red stones in her crown were rubies. This was in fact not the case and it was a combination of rubies and spinels.
